ARACON

Propping and shoring

ARACON prop

Steel and aluminium propping in one family, from 2.5 to 4.5 metres, set and struck by one person without a crane.

What aprop does

A prop carries the wet slab until the concrete takes its own weight. It is set by one person, adjusted under load, and struck and moved to the floor above.

Because it is handled by hand on every cycle, the two figures that decide it are the load it holds at full extension and the weight a worker lifts to place it. The range is specified against both, and the load is quoted extended rather than closed, which is the number that matters on site.

These describe the range as it is supplied today. They are being confirmed against ARACON supply from our Italian and Chinese manufacturing partners and may change. A further 6 values are held until the ARACON datasheet is signed. Ask for the specification as it stands today and it will be sent.
