ARACON wall
A steel-framed panel system for walls and columns. Panels are craned in, clamped together, and pulled straight by the same clamp that joins them.
What thepanel does
A wall panel holds the pour pressure and gives the concrete its face. The frame is steel, the face is plywood, and the two do different jobs: the frame takes the load and survives the site, the face is a consumable that decides the finish.
Panels are joined with an aligning clamp that does two things at once. It pulls the panels together and it pulls them into line, so the joint between two panels does not have to be straightened separately.
The system is deliberately short on component types. Fewer parts means fewer things to count off a truck, fewer things to lose on a job, and a crew that can gang panels without a drawing for every configuration.
